We don't give full refunds due to buyer's remorse or wood grain dissatisfaction, nor do we guarantee exact color matches. Sorry, but in most situations, shipping charges are not refundable.

Our 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our products and your complete satisfaction is very important to us. Our products are handcrafted by skilled craftsman using furniture grade lumber and high-quality finishes, and we take great pride in our quality of workmanship. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of your purchase, you may return it to us in like-new condition, for a full refund within 30 days of delivery.
Five Year Limited Warranty
This warranty covers any defects in workmanship for five years from the date of delivery. Natural abnormalities in the graining or figuring of the wood are not considered to be defects. We are not liable for loss of finish color from constant direct sunlight, nor are we liable for wood movement due to excessive humidity or dryness, as this is a normal occurrence. We are not responsible for abuse, misuse, or any acts of God such as floods. Warranty will be void for products that have been modified or improperly installed by the consumer.
We will, at our discretion, gladly fix or replace any product we make, at no charge to you. Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges, but we will ship it back to you free of charge. Please Contact Customer Care to obtain warranty service, and we will make the necessary arrangements to quickly handle your claim. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state. Please retain your invoice for proof of purchase.
Return and Exchange Policy
This policy is for products that are listed on our website and ordered with the standard options presented for that product. If you have a customized product, you need to reference the policy listed below for Custom Orders. Please Contact Customer Care within 30 days of delivery.
Miss-ordered
If you have discovered that you picked the wrong item, size or finish color, we will gladly exchange it so that you are satisfied with your purchase. Because these items were made to your specifications, returns and exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee and must be returned in like-new condition. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
Cancellations
Orders that are cancelled before the production of your order begins are not subject to any fees. Orders that are cancelled after the production of your order has begun, may be subject to a restocking fee up to 25%, depending on the production status of your order. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs if the order has already been shipped.
Custom Orders
We do not accept any returns or exchanges on custom orders, because they were custom designed and built to your specifications (custom dimensions, modifications or custom finishes). If you have an issue with your order, please Contact Customer Care for assistance.
Shipping Damages
Our packaging methods have a proven track record of ensuring consistently safe deliveries. If your order has been damaged during shipping, please Contact Customer Care immediately and we will gladly fix it or replace it, at no additional charge. Please note, the carrier may be financially responsible for any shipping damage and you must notify us within 3 days of delivery to make any claims. Please keep all packaging how you found it, the carrier will arrange a pickup for inspection. All shipments are insured with the carrier.
Return Shipping
In order to receive a credit or to process an exchange, we must receive products back in like-new condition. Please pack your order using the package and packing it came with. If a product is sent to us, and damaged during shipment, the buyer is responsible for the loss or damage of the product. If the item is not returned in its original like-new condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss of value. Credits are not given until received and inspected for shipping damage and condition.
Product Liability
Poplar Street Woodworks assumes no liability once products have left our shop. Poplar Street Woodworks cannot be held liable for potential problems with products that may occur in the consumers home or place of business and is not responsible for any injury, harm or death that might occur with the proper or improper use, or faulty installation of our products. Neither can Poplar Street Woodworks be responsible for products suffering from wear and tear, expansion or contraction of woods or joinery due to climatic changes, buyer's remorse, or any other liability whatsoever resulting from the use of the products
